Week 2 General Meeting 09/03/19

Hello everyone! Hope you have all had a great start to your semester! At this weeks meeting we shared about our first social which will be taking place on Tuesday, September 10 behind Building 1 from 4pm-7pmish. We will be eating ice cream, provided by our advisor Dr. Morales, and mingling so come cool down from the summer heat with us! 

We also discussed "Brain Day 2020" which is hosted by Dr. Blumenfeld and will be taking place on a day between March 16-22nd. About 600 3rd graders are invited to come learn about the brain through various interactive activities. If you are interested in volunteering for this event and becoming a part of organizing it, meetings will be held every Friday from 1pm-3pm starting this semester. We also discussed membership dues which are $25 for the semester and $40 if you would like to pay for the whole year. These will be due by October 8th! Paying membership dues comes with many benefits such as free socials, free food, a chapter t-shirt, and reimbursement for WPA!
