Happy Spring Quarter Psi Chi!!! It was great to see new and familiar faces at our first general meeting of quarter! Here's what we discussed...

Deadline for WPA! If you are attending WPA and signed up through Psi Chi then here are the following deadlines:

- Payment for the hotel fee will be $90 per person due on Friday, April 13th.
- Payment for the faculty dinner fee is $15 per person due on Wednesday, April 18th. (you are not required to attend this dinner)
- The online registration deadline to attend WPA has been extended until Friday, April 6th at 11:59PM

Those of you traveling with Psi Chi to WPA will be required to sign travel documents. These documents must be signed in-person and will be provided at our general meetings on 4/3 & 4/10.

As stated in our meeting, if any of these deadlines are missed you will unfortunately be dropped from Psi Chi’s travel list and another member on the waitlist will be awarded your spot.

As a collective group, we decided on our first social event of the quarter to be on Friday, April 6th at 6:00PM. Based on the voting polls, we will be going bowling and singing karaoke at Round 1 in City of Industry. More information about the address of the location will be posted on our GroupMe chat so please check on that or talk to a fellow Psi Chi member!

We also took some time to introduce ourselves and socialize with one another for a bit. If you are new to our club, please feel free to reach out and introduce yourself to all the members so we can build new relationships and keep one another updated on future events!

Member Spotlight Appreciation❗️❗️❗️

Meet Clifton Lee. We want to give him a huge shout out for his consistent and active participation within our club! Clifton joined Psi Chi so he can meet more people in his major. He mentioned that classes at Cal Poly Pomona go by extremely fast so it’s difficult to make connections with classmates. He emphasized on his interest in Psi Chi based on the amount of dedicated people we have in our club, the friendly e-board members, and the weekly events at general meetings. Clifton’s area of interest in psychology is Industrial/Organizational. He hopes to be an international consulting agent within the HR department for an international business. Outside of school, he enjoys reading and playing computer games. A fun fact about Clifton is he likes to listen to lo-fi hip hop and future funk.
