Welcome to a new week everyone! It's already Week 5 and it's midterm season. Hope everyone is studying hard!
Well for this week's general meeting we had special guest, Dr. Michael Giang come in to guest speak for Psi Chi. To recap what he said, he first started off explaining a little about himself and where he was from. Dr. Giang was born in Vietnam and currently lives in the Rosemead/Monterey Park area. As for his academics, he attended Mount Sac and then transferred to UCLA. He also studied experimental methods at CSUN and got his masters there. Then he became a professor at Mount St. Mary’s College. Currently, he is teaching here at Cal Poly Pomona, and he’s actually searching for research assistants. To those that are interested in becoming a research assistant for Dr. Giang, email him at mtgiang@cpp.edu. At the end of the meeting, our new E-board were also announced and they are the following: Social Chair: Isabella Raman Conference Chair: Raelene Somjit Community Service Chair: Michael Rhodes C.L.A.S.S.
